Hello,
The following are some of the most recent updates, words of advice, and assignments for you to work on for the next couple of days.
1. One of the National Webinars that I attended said to remind children to establish a routine for each day! Try to establish at least 5 routine things that you do each day - learning should be one of them :-).
2. The following is a link to some Wake County Resources tinyurl.com/COVIDWake. Please share this link with others.
3. March 17th Report said, that all schools are working on online learning and additional information will be shared next week about remote learning to keep children engaged and to reduce learning loss. "April 6th - April 13th remains designated as the school district's traditional spring break."
4. I have been exploring various online tools such as ck12.org. For this week we will use ck12.org. In the coming weeks, we will explore additional tools as well. Please sign - in to ck12.org. The CLASS CODE is "lb5mq". Under each assignment title, you should select at least one activity from each of the following categories "Read", "Video", and "Real World" assignment before you select the "Practice" problems. Most of what I selected for this week are Factoring Review Problems from Math 1, Math 2, and Math 3. This weeks topics are Factoring Quadratics, Dividing Polynomials, and Zero Product.
5. Breathe In - Breathe Out - Stay Safe - We are in this TOGETHER! (3/19)

Hello,
My goal is for you to stay safe, take care of yourself, and others around you!
The situations that we are currently in are NEW to everyone. Each day, I learn more and more about how we are going to proceed. One of the reports that I received said, "All Schools will be receiving additional information in the coming days" as to how we are to proceed with learning. As I learn new and more information, I will share it with you. I have been attending various Local and National Webinars since last Friday on the expectations of teachers, the expectations for students, various ways to virtually/digitally communicate, various platforms for digital learning, and etc. The assignments that I posted on the Schedule Link are to give you something to do when you need something to do. I will update my website on Wednesday and Friday of each week while we are out. (This will give me time to summarize all of the information that I receive to assist with keeping you informed.)
